Tum Nua

A co worker of mine was quitting so we had a farewell party here at Tum Nua on Kaset Rd. The restaurant is super cute and the food was delicious. It was impossible to capture images of the food due to horrible lighting but I was able to capture some dessert images inside their little coffee shop.

Cherry Cheesecake (this was mediocre)

Imoya's Neighbor.

This is horrible but I already forget the name of this restaurant. It is next to Imoya (Thonglor branch) The food here aren't too expensive but they serve you appetizers which will make you think they're included with the meal but they aren't... and a bottle of no name water here is ridiculously priced.

Sashimi Salad.

Raw Baby Squids, they were tasty but definitely high in cholesterol.

Stingray meat. This wasn't good.

Torajiro (again)

This is a boat of happiness on 7th Floor Central World in front of Zen.

Good Enuff To Eat

At Eight apartment building in Thonglor, there's a restaurant down in the basement called Good Enuff To Eat. They serve interesting fusion food. :9

Good Enuff Sushi- sticky rice on the bottom with different meat toppings on top.

Spaghetti with Meatball and Spicy Tomato Sauce. This dish wasn't all that great. Their meatballs were too dry and the sauce wasn't tomato-y..

Angel Hair Pasta with Seafood Tomato Sauce

iberry

This place is called Gub Kao Gub Pla by iberry. This was the Market Place, Thonglor branch. I haven't tried their food yet but I hear a lot of good things about their meals.

Their Popular Honey Toast is served with 2 scoops of ice cream, whipped cream, and honey.

This was to die for... for real.

House Warming in Thonglor

Our family friend was moving into a new apt in Thonglor, so they had a house warming party.... I can't deny that the food was a highlight of this party...

There were soooooo much foood!!!!!!

Baan Kan Pu (บ้านก้ามปู)

Bann Kam Pu is the biggest coffee shop I've ever been to. Located in Ladprao by Ramintra-Ekkamai express way. This place is a huge jungle with waterfalls, huge trees, and wooden gazebos. Amazing atmosphere with delicious coffee and cakes.

Tiramisu B-day Cake...

This has got to be the best birthday cake ever. The whole thing is a huge piece of tiramisu from Sheraton Hotel.

It's fluffy, soft, and super tasty!

Sunrise Tacos

Once in awhile I like to stop by this Mexican chain restaurant called Sunrise Tacos.

Their food is closest to the real Mexican food I can find. Ohh..... how I miss my old Castro's back in Brooklyn.

Uomasa

In Thonglor, there's this little section called "Nihonmura" as in Japanese Town. They have all these authentic Japanese restaurants and Uomasa is one of them.

They serve really fresh and delicious sashimi... for a lot of money. ahahha

Si Chung Island

I went to Si Chung Island this weekend and we stopped for lunch at this resort called Paree Huts.

Crab fried rice. This was just okay.

Garlic Crab over rice. This was delicious but hard to eat.

This Tom Yum soup wasn't necessary good but this was the most shrimp I've ever seen in a bowl of soup so I had to take a picture.

The island was beautiful but the food was just ehhh.

Vanilla Garden

This cute little Japanese restaurant/garden is located in Ekkamai.
